Did you guess the purpose of the yellow brick lanes below? They are for blind folks. I love it. The dots signify an intersection....we can walk on them, but aren't supposed to stop. Kim filled me in on this, not one guide has. LOL I've seen these lanes at the airports and train stations.

Very interesting about the blind path...clever idea.
Yeah, I was with a group once at an airport in Japan and we set our bags down to wait for the plane - on the yellow line. And learned not to do it again from a "nice" man. Living is learning!
I think it is so very considerate - I love it...but I think I need to make sure Americans know what it's for as most seemed to stop right on the line and not know. LOL
Yup, we have yellow and other colored lines here in Oregon and they generally mean stop go no more and wait.
Interesting the differences. Love the lines for the blind. Nothing like that here and how nice etc.
