Mt Fuji

I saw Mt Fuji as we flew into Tokyo...wonder how I've missed it on all the other flights....and wonder if we could go climb it this summer....maybe we should wait for Mike...he's the real climber...not I.

Yea. I'm thinking you should really wait for Mike on that one and/or the older boys!

Sis:

Fuji look absolutely beautiful. BUT think you need to wait until Mike is home to climb. How much snow melts off in the summer? Don't think much.

We all really like Fujiyama! Oh, except that it's a Shinto shrine. We saw it on every clear day from our house at Yokota. From Yokota, there are bus tours that take you to the Fifth Station, which just means you can go up part-way to the restaurants and gift shops and take pictures w/o actually having to hike! If you ever go to Tokyo/Yokota for a trip, it's a good thing to do.
