The Rest of Monday!

We did get couch school done. Couch school consists of the things that I do with the children - most of which are done on the couch around here (history, science, read alouds, phonics)...

I took the 3 little ones and went to the RV dealer. They wanted to see a trailer like the one I bought, but it won't be here until Thursday. We left the dealer and went to Sam's Club. I picked up some chicken so I could cook tonight. I made oven fried chicken....oven fries...salad...fruit....

I had to leave before dinner was done to meet the Shop Natural truck. Our order was small this month - which was good as we met the truck later than normal. Adrienne and her children came over and helped inventory and sort.

Heather came over to pick up her "stuff" and fixed my camera...again. Yippee! I would have missed THIS photo if she'd not stopped by....
Stacia climbed into a teeny, tiny box...it holds 12 boxes of mac and cheese...and got STUCK!!!! See the lollipop in her mouth? It's made from fruit juices....I thought I was buying a little bag for treats. It was 3 oz....I thought...but it must have been 3 lbs...because we got a huge canister of them. I plan to take them to Mike's office. He has a ceramic pig that is full of candy...I'll add these so there is something somewhat better for the children when they visit. I'll put some in the diaper bag....hmmmm....who knows because we don't really do lollipops...but STACIA DOES! ugh.

The younger 4 and I read some out of Jungle Book and they called it a day. Oh wait - my dear college sister friend called. She informed me that what may have happened with the credit card is that they suspended it because I made so many payments in one month. I made 3 payments...big ones....and umm.....since the patriot act that's a huge red flag for money laundering...so now I know. I guess one payment a month...and I'm not sure how having this account so that I could make the payment for local things from it will help. I certainly don't want them freezing the account every month I make more than one payment. ::snort::

My shoulder is feeling miraculously better. It still twinges and aches but I can move....I worked out today without the arms...which worked out well since I used the step and needed to focus on my two left feet! ::snort::

Jamin is creating a weight circuit for me to do. He's excited. I told him to remember I'm old. He wanted to know what areas I need to work on most. I told him to LOOK at me....maybe I should let him off the hook and tell which areas I want to work on. ::snort::

Tomorrow...taxes, school, FAFSA, loans....

Tooo cute about poor Stacia being stuck in the box!

How extremely frustrating about the whole credit card mess. I'd completely cancel it and use something that's at least reasonable to work with, arghhhh!

I pay our cc online weekly (sometimes 4 digit amounts), so I won't face a huge monthly bill and can avoid fees...I've done this for over a year and never had them freeze it. I do have a different company than you. Bummer they're giving you such a hard time! Hope Mike was able to help you get it resolved.

Delighted your shoulder is feeling better. Glad couch school goal was met.

Poor Stacia! Stuck in a box and you take her picture LOL. She is adorable.

We're still doing our relaxed schedule for school, but I am starting to feel antsy to get back into the swing. This is only our 2nd week, so we're waiting a while longer lol.

I'm so ready to do our taxes. We're still waiting on 2 or 3 things. Hopefully they come this week.

Are those the Yummy Earth lollipops? We got some of those from coop this month and they are good! We just got the little packets, but six of them.

I looked at that box and seeing that it was mac and cheese wondereded HOW she got in it!

We haven't started our taxes either. We are at the mercy of people who take forever to get us our info. And dh's work decided they are not obligated to send us a W2, we have to figure out how to get it off liine. ARGH. We are desperate for our return so we can fix the roof!

Yes Jen - Yummy Earth and they ARE good. I especially like the watermelon flavor. Stacia likes the pomegranit (spelling) and Zander likes anything but lemon. LOL I did get 3 lbs of them....:;snort::

I can't figure out how she crammed herself into the box either. LOL

Darshia - I'm going to keep trying then...if you've not had trouble. LOL Who knows?

Yes...Mike called them and they called me back and were apologetic. The magic of a man. LOL

Actually I have discovered that our accounts are JOINT but they list Mike as primary so when he gets home we need to change that so that we are co- something or other on loans, bills, credit cards....because then I wouldn't have this trouble. I have a POA that specifically SAYS I can do all this....but they wouldn't listen....they worried about fraud or something.

Sis: Like I say Stacia reminds me of other little ones I have known. :):) What a sweetie!

Fed-X said Thur or Fri you would get a box from us.

Sent an email to you with more info.

Dr. said Dad has to go back to just 30lb of weight on the left side for now.

LOL, what a great photo! Of course, I'm sure she wasn't thrilled. How in the world did she ever fit in there?

Hopefully all your CC woes will soon be resolved.

Juice lollipops...I'll have to look for those. I'm really careful about giving the Littles much of anything sweet as they have very bad teeth. Our dentist will be able to put a child through college after all the work they'll need to have done.

DeEtta,
1. Posted a few recipes for ya on my blog.
2. Did you see my friends blog about the butter bell? I got one yesterday from my best girlfriend and it is great.

Hope you have a better day.

Beth - I'll have to check out the recipes....I meant to check on the butter bell but forgot....I KNEW I'd heard of it somewhere and even looked for one in the store the other day. LOL

Does it work?

I don't know what you mean by large, but I make many what I consider large payments on our credit card each month because our fuel bill is so high.... think $1000/day when we're working.... If we rent a piece of equipment it's $9000 a week... so, I charge and often make a payment the very same day... often 2-3 times a week and a dozen times during the month. We've NEVER had our credit card questioned like that. Now, they have called sometimes when we've both charged something large like that within minutes of each other, but that doesn't bother me. I'm glad they look at things like that.

This coupled with all of your other credit card woes and I'd be looking for a different company. We use First Interstate Bank if you happen to have one there and we've never had a bit of trouble with them. They are always very accomodating... my only complaint is that I can only make one online payment a day (LOL)! I have a weird way of making payments when I pay ahead... and that's making payments for exact amounts of single charges so it doesn't take me so long to reconcile at the end of the month... but, at any rate, that's minor compared to the problems you've had with your company.

What a cute picture of Stacie . . .but poor little thing didn't look too happy!

Glad you are feeling better!

We pay all of our credit card bills online too. In fact, I think Carlos told me that we are now 95% of the time paying all bills online. We do the same thing and pay off the credit card bill each month. We put EVERYTHING on it to rack up sky miles but we know when to stop for the month so we can pay it in full when the statement comes in.

Great picture!

One of our cards was like that, you could only make up to 4 payments in one billing cycle. I know someone who got flagged by her bank due to that new law too. The person I know IRL who is also on SHS, it CAN and does happen.
