KRISTA TURNS 21 TODAY!!!!!

What a strange bit of feeling we all have knowing it is her birthday and not being with her for the big milestone. We did call last night so we could sing our traditonal "Happy Birthday Elemdorf Gospel Style" rendition.

We had to call last night because she is flying to TRINIDAD today. Please pray for her and the group she is with. They will be exploring the possibilities of setting up a new program in Trinidad....similar to the Master Commission model but for missions. In addition to this they will have various ministry opportunities. They will be living in host homes.

Pray for fruit, clarity, direction, safety and whatever else God leads you to pray for. Krista is seeking God about missions. Specficially, she wants to go to Israel/West Bank and work with displaced children. This is her last year with Master's Commission. She will be taking steps in the fall to follow her heart to missions. I'm praying God uses this trip to really speak to her while she's in a new environment and close to the heart of missions.

Alright- I'm also praying she doesn't get any dreadful diseases or mugged while she is out of country.

What an exciting thing to be doing on her 21st birthday! We'll be praying. We've got family in Israel as well as in-laws of in laws. lol Unfortunately they aren't believers just yet. I'd love to hear how her trip went if/when you post about it. I've told my husband for years that I would love to be on the mission field somewhere. We just haven't felt the call so we work our field here. :)

Sis:

Praying for Krista. How exciting for her. Dad/I remember our summer trip to Mexico while students at EBC in 1963. There were 12 on the team and out of this trip two couples fell in love and got married, and are still married.

It was a bittersweet experience as you three kids went into the adult world for us........ but so many times to be so proud.

It is different and the same type of experience as we see our 14 G'Kids going various way in their adult lives.

You can be sure these parents and G'Parents have much to pray for daily for you all.

We forgot the dates Krista was leaving and so will call her when she gets back. Has Bre also left on her ministry trip back East?

love/prayers Dad/Mom

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Krista! We will be praying for you & your mission in Trinidad.
De'Etta,
Our prayers are also with you & Mike. With Arielle going off to Peru soon, I can relate to the feelings you are having for your little girl's (not so little anymore) safety. Praying a Fortress of protection around Krista as well as all that are involved with the Trinidad mission.

Mom - Bre doesn't leave until 14 June. Josiah is joining them on that trip.

Thanks all for your prayers.
