How Do You Know it's Spring in Alaska?

Here is one more way to tell if its spring.

One of the spring rituals in Alaska is ye old switching of tires. Spring tires come out and winter tires are stored. If one doesn't have the time to sit around (sometimes for hours) it's best to drop off a vehicle and pick it up when its ready.

Michael and I gave BreAnne an assist today. Her tires were swapped, and the van was ready. She needed two people to help her reclaim it: one to play with the kids and one to drive her to Midas. We were game. I was more than happy to get a bit of Bachan time in with these grands!  We took full advantage of the beautiful spring day and stayed outside.

Can you spot all five of them?

Izaak had given Gideon and Jojo new haircuts. Wow! Jojo all of a sudden looks so much older...and a lot more like Gideon! He had beautiful curls, but he is VERY happy with this new style.

Bre sent a better photo of both boys and their cuts!
